Program Summary

The Challenge Leadership Program, under the direction of former North Central High School principal Chuck Roach, has been improving the skills of student leaders and enhancing student teamwork in schools since 1980. Chuck understands the challenges schools face in the development of student leaders and has designed programs to meet those challenges. All of the fast-paced, interactive, motivational Challenge programs are brought to your school district and are guaranteed to make a difference!

High School: a three-hour or six-hour program for up to 80 students

Students will:

• Work together in small groups to experience the power of teamwork
• Learn the importance of overcoming the fear of failure
• Be taught by means of hands-on activities and powerful stories
• Increase their self-esteem and self-confidence
• Be given an effective framework that will inspire them to reach their greatest potential

Middle School: a three-hour program for up to 64 students

Students will:

• Participate in an educational and entertaining program with a powerful message
• Understand how to positively deal with frustration and minimize conflicts
• Learn to reduce the fear of what others say or think about them
• Leave the program with heightened levels of contagious enthusiasm

Elementary School: a two-hour program for up to 64 students

Students will:

• Learn the importance of modeling good leadership behavior
• Have greater respect for each other
• Be introduced to the concepts of good teamwork
• Leave the program with greater understanding of school and community pride.

Faculty Program: a two-hour program presented as a part of a staff development day

Faculty will:

• Enhance professional working relationships
• Participate in exciting and entertaining team building activities
• Understand the importance of working as a powerful professional team
