Frequently Asked Questions
The Challenge Leadership Program breaks away from traditional
student leadership development. Where leadership conferences
benefit only a few individuals from each school and full school
assemblies do not have time to detail specific leadership
traits, our program format is unique. We empower a core group
of student leaders large enough to make a positive change
in the school, yet small enough that we can focus on specific
leadership skills.
The high school program is six hours in length and is designed
for a maximum of 80 participants. The middle school program
is three hours in length and is designed for a maximum of
64 participants. The elementary school program is two hours
in length and is designed for a maximum of 64 students.
The school selects student participants identified as having
leadership potential. These student leaders may be club members,
class officers, student council members, student government
leaders, athletic team captains, cheerleaders, etc. Teachers
may also nominate students who have not been selected to a
leadership position in the school but still exhibit positive
leadership potential.
We bring the program to your school district. The Challenge
Program is best presented in a facility outside the school
building such as a church fellowship hall, banquet facility
or conference room.
At least one representative for the school is required to
be in attendance throughout the entire program. We welcome
teachers, parents and staff to attend during the day and encourage
you to invite your school superintendent and local media.
The Challenge Leadership Program will provide all audio and
video equipment and all the necessary materials and supplies
needed for the presentation.
It is not unusual for schools interested in hosting a Challenge
Leadership Program to inquire about ways to fund the program.
We have heard repeatedly after presenting the program that
the money spent to bring the Challenge Leadership Program
to a school was, in fact, an excellent investment.
